Sunday Stealing--Questions to Ask Friends

Join us here.

1. What emotion do you experience the most?

Frustration.  I wish it were something like happiness, but more often than not I’m just frustrated with things in general.

2. What embarrasses you most in front of other people?

Saying the wrong thing.  I want to sink into the floor.

3. What do you love most about yourself?

If I get knocked down, I just get back up.  I'm a survivor.

4. Who has influenced you the most?

My parents.

5. What would you like to change about yourself?

I’d always like to be thinner, and at this point in my life, I have accepted that I’ve broken my metabolism so badly that it will never be.  I’d like to be a better listener and get out of my head a little more.  Let’s go with that.

6. If you could do one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

There isn’t ONE thing I’d want to do to the exclusion of all other things.  I’d love to have the money to travel, but I’d always want to come home.

7. If you had the option of adopting a baby fox of baby koala, which would it be?

Fox.  Koalas aren’t really that bright.  Foxes are closer to dogs.

8. If you had to be on a reality show, which would it be?

No.  Just no.  I’d be better at a game show, like Jeopardy.

9. If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?

Assuming I could get a whole year off from work, and get there via a business class flight, AND have all the money I would need to live very comfortably, AND take the hubs and the pets, I could live in England for a year.  Then I could explore England, Ireland, Scotland, and Europe.

10. How many bones have you broken?

Right wrist, left second toe.  That’s it.

11. What do you fear about getting older?

I think about this a lot actually.  My only child and I only communicate via text.  We are friendly, but strangers.  When I am very old, and need someone to look after me, what will happen?  Hubs is twelve years younger than me, but statistically, women live longer.   I hope that I won’t need someone in my twilight years.  What I do know is that I won’t go to a nursing home, ever.  I’d rather walk out into the desert and never come back.  I’ve worked in enough nursing homes to know that I don’t want that.

12. How do you relieve stress?

Blogging, cooking, re-reading books, re-watching movies, and napping.

13. Are your feet the same size?

No, I don’t think anyone has the same sized feet.  My right is slightly bigger than my left.

14. 100 kittens or 3 baby sloths?

Kittens.  I don’t know if you could train a sloth to use a litter box.

15. What do you want more than anything else in life?

Peace

  1. Your door mat reminded me of two door mats that I bought for the cottage, one says "What you again?" and the other says "I hope you brought the wine."

  3. #9. England's a great place to start. We are so close to mainland Europe it's easy just to hop across the English Channel.
